I don't think anyone is in position to hold out for top dollar with the new CBA. Things are basically set with their contracts anymore.

Technically,  an agent can try to maximize guarantees and the offset language in a contract.   So much probably would depend on what other players around that draft slot are getting in terms of guarantees and offset language.    If the team is being fair based on market value,  the player should sign his contract sometime before training camp begins.

@AdamSchefter Jalen Ramsey scheduled to meet Dr. Andrews this week. Surgery likely, but team believes, as of now, he'll be back before opener vs. Packers.
