I like Walters.

The thing is, Walters, Benn, and Washington all showed very good things last preseason during the games.  I see no way any other undrafted FA WR makes this team this year, barring catastrophic injury in one of the top 4 WRs.

I still can't forget the first game after it was announced Khan bought the team.  We played the Falcons on a Thursday night and got absolutely shellacked.  The Falcons CB post game called our receivers "a [BLEEP] joke."  As classless and ungracious as that was, what was equally infuriating-if not moreso-was that he was right.

 

Now we are at the point where an opposing CB-Stephon Gilmore of the Bills-called Allen Robinson "an average receiver" post game, after Robinson and Hurns torched the Bills, and we Jags fans laugh at his sore loser spiel.

The serious injury that everyone was wringing their hands over was Jonathan Woodard, the rookie DE who has a ruptured Achilles. 

 

Bowanko also didn't participate because he's got a torn labrum in the hip, and has been placed on the PUP list along with Woodard.

 

 

I read he was on the bubble for making the roster anyway (Woodward) and that if he was put on practice squad, someone else would snatch him up. I think the coaches are not worried about him sitting out a year on the list.
