Imo Lee is similar to hurns in that IF he works on his route running, thats how he'll get behind the d. Remember all those double moves hurns utilized. Can u imagine someone a little faster? A little quicker? Thats Lee imo without lookin at combine numbers. I'd be freakin ecstatic if Lee puts the injuries behind him and does turn into a better Hurns...

Reminds me of Steve Smith. Plays aggressive and angry. Not a burner but faster than expected. Not afraid to try and run over the defender despite his size

Robinson Lee with hurns in the slot.. That would make defenses nervous.. Not to mention jags are gonna be using no huddle..

Then u also got thomas and lewis to deal with..

Are you thinking empty backfield?

Lee plays WoW. He's a level 45 Mohawk Warrior.

I agree - but He's more than 'a little faster.' He's quite a bit faster than Hurns.

Think Torrey Smith around 2012/13.

I look forward to Lee taking 20 or so snaps on the outside each week. He's got the speed to take the top off - and once he does he'll demand attention.

If the football Gods grant our receiving & TE groups good health this season, Blake is gonna have serious weapons to move downfield in a hurry.

The problem now is can we finally punch it in from less than 10 yards out. Those first 70/80 yards are the easy part.

IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

I will never understand (and it ain't just the Jaguars) why a team with a mobile quarterback doesn't roll them out more often, and give them a run/pass option, down around the goal line.

I don't agree that is Lee is more talented than ar15. He has potential for sure if healthy.

I also believe bortles makes his receivers look very good, especially statistically.

Yup. And once you're in the NFL, no one cares anymore.

He's been in the league for 2 years now so his college production doesn't mean squat.

They are nothing alike. Lee has the speed to blow thru defenses. His route running is pretty good. The only thing that's held him back is nagging injuries. Trust me, these two are nothing alike.

Not saying he's the same caliber of player, but let's remember we had a pretty good RB that was considered 'fragile' his first few years with the team.

If Lee could develop into a Torrey Smith caliber WR, while Bortles and the rest of the receivers perform as they did last year, our offense would go into the elite category.  A more consistent Lee, Robinson, Hurns and Thomas on the field at the same time would make us difficult to match up against.

Each and every one of those guys could beat single coverage.  If a defense committed to double covering all of those guys (it wouldn't likely do that), they could only rush 3 on that play, and that wouldn't account for any RB coming out of the backfield.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Main problem is you cut the field in half for the defense.  I like the idea of moving the pocket some but not pure rollouts,  I feel like they lead to broken plays or forced passes into coverage.  Now if the offense is in the center of the field I like the qb to roll as far as the hashmarks but thats it.  Forces the defensive line to have to think the qb won't be in the same spot everytime.

Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17
2016 draft players I think will be good
  • On the Fournette train, will be best back of his class 3/6/17
  • Lattimore please,  Lockdowns on both sides would be nice
  • Engram at TE and the MJD clone Samaje Perine

Quote:Whoa now... I actually don't think Lee can be as good as ARob. You think Lee can put up 80 for 1,400 and 14 TDs? I don't think so.
He can be better, I remember when Antonio Brown was like the Steelers 3rd WR he had a couple of good years, and then just blew up to putting up crazy numbers. I can see Bortles becoming on of the elite QBs in the NFL, throwing for over 4,000 and 30 tds every year so the opportunite will be there.
