Quote:To be fair, Sexton also said "Ray Lewis is a HOF'er and Poz won't be, and Lewis was exceptional working sideline to sideline and Poz is not."

Is Poz a better pure tackler? Maybe, maybe not, but it's at least very close, and some context helps here.

He probably isn't a better tackler either. He might be able to lift more.

His first touch. Eyes were rolled and groans escaped.

Not impressed.

Jonas gray on the other hand looks the part. And of course Yeldon and ivory were awesome.

I went out there.   It was really hot and humid.   They ran around, did all the drills, did 7 on 7, 11 on 11.   Hard for me to tell much.   The DBs looked pretty fast.   Miles Jack looked like a rookie on his first day.  Marqise Lee caught some passes.   So did Marcedes Lewis.   Julius Thomas looked good.  Yeldon looked quick and shifty.   Ivory looked pretty good.   Our rookie QB from Arkansas looked a little overmatched, but that's to be expected.

It's underwear practice.   I'm not an NFL scout.   They all looked like world class athletes to me.

So he seems to be in mid season form already.

Preferably 8-12 times in the end zone alone.

A few notes from the clip above with JT.

- Cyprien has good coverage on him, that's good to see his pass protection improving.

- Julius overall just looks healthier this year.

- Dante Fowler stunted and then dropped back into coverage, do you think we will use him as possibly a covering linebacker on some downs?

- Malik Jackson looked slow on this play, well atleast his initial burst, it was clear AJ beat him. Hope those 90 million dollars get us somewhere.

Yeah but Cann is a beast and it will show more thoroughly this year. I saw a lot of glimpses last year of a mauler.

Yeah. It's also hard to judge that position without pads/full contact
