NHL Plants their flag in Las Vegas

Las Vegas has been approved over Quebec City for an expansion franchise in the NHL.
It's only a matter of time before the NFL and NBA follow suit. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I will interested in seeing how this works out in a transient community like Vegas.
The owner, Bill Foley, has a connection to Jacksonville as chairman of Fidelity National Financial. Although I think he has not lived in Jacksonville in a few years.

Sooo... Las Vegas Knights? Las Vegas Aces?
Honestly, I'm looking forward to the expansion draft. Should be interesting.
I just can't imagine this is going to work out. Are there enough hockey fans in Vegas to fill that arena? Sure they'll pull some people that want to go see their team play there, but will it be enough?
Personally, I would have liked to see Quebec get a team back. You all may recall that they lost their franchise to Colorado just prior to the Avalanche going on a roll with a few Stanley Cups under Patrick Roy.

I think the NHL is losing the average fan through all of this moving. Personally, I have no interest in watching teams like Phoenix and Nashville in the playoffs. I think this is the sport in most need of retaining tradition.

I'm more wondering on how they want to divide the conferences with an odd number of teams.
Guess it doesn't matter too much with how their season structure goes.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
500 million to get in. Owners split the take. Piss, put up the money and these piss will put teams Laredo Texas.
Wishing the Québécois got the team. Las Vegas Vagabonds? Bandits ...one armed bandits Las Vegas Hinds....Hockey In Desert Sucks
