So who are we drafting?.... in 2017.

I think McCaffrey will have a good career in the NFL.  Will definitely be a scheme fit though.  Put him on the Patriots and he'll have 1000 yards receiving, 800 yards rushing, and double digit TDs every single season.  He'd kill it.  Put him on the 2012 Jaguars and he'd probably get 6 concussions and be out of the league in a couple seasons.  He'll never be a dominant feature back like Adrian Peterson(although how many of these exist anymore...) but he is perfect for the versatile pass happy game the NFL has evolved into to.

As far as skills he isnt slow, but he doesnt look world class fast either.  whoever said 4.5 is probably right.  He does look quick.  And he has incredible vision which I think offsets whatever lack of true elite speed.

We'll see how this season plays out but I've got a hunch we'll be going heavy on the offensive line in next year's draft.  And we may not need more weapons on offense.

I totally agree. Mike Alstott is the last one I can think of. Heck there was a while there when the black quarterbacks struggled but now Russel Wilson and Cam Newton are balling. Hey there haven't been many good white Defensive backs lately. Safety Harrison Smith from Vikings is probably 1st since John Lynch and Jason Sehorn

If you've never seen the guy play, then you have nothing to fall back on but generalizations like that.   But if you have seen him play, then you can take him as an individual, not as a member of any kind of group.

I will say this, though.   He comes from a very athletic family.  At one point his maternal grandfather, who was white, held the world record in the 100 meter dash.   Duke University named him their most outstanding athlete of the 20th century.

Gimmie an interior offensive lineman, or pending Beachum's play, an LT.  Caldwell did his work for the D, now it's time to protect our most important asset (Bortles) and help pave the way to make it easier for him by giving Ivory and Yeldon some lanes to run through.

BORTLES ISN'T A FRANCHISE QB. FOURNETTE WILL BE A BUST.

If Beachum doesn't work out, I think Cam Robinson. If Beachum does work out, but we shouldn't be picking that high to get Cam Robinson. I want us to snag one of those great running backs, this is gearing up to be one of, if not the best running back class ever. Leonard Fournette, Dalvin Cook, Christian Mccafrey, Nick Chubb, and Semaje Perine. I don't really like the idea of taking a running back in round 1, probably one of these guys can be had in round 2. Personally I'm really liking the idea of Dalvin Cook in a Jags uniform or Nick Chubb aka MJD 2.0.

Quote:Cam Robinson. He's shut down the country's elite rushers, including goose egging Dante Fowler as a true freshman.

Well, call me rascist then. If you're a white dude you've got no business carrying a football.

I'm uber white BTW. Like, I'll beat the [BLEEP] out of aunt jemimas bottom until she gives me the last of the syrup.

....then I buy another.

Quote:4. Middle Linebacker - Posluszny is getting old. We need to find his replacement for the future.

Umm Myles Jack?

I would go best OL available or MLB. I think Jack is better playing OLB. Him and Telvin can lock down the sidelines and we can draft a young fast hard hitting MLB.

An offensive tackle and and a strong side LB sure seem like the obvious early picks to me.

A stud blocking TE with good hands makes some sense too if there's one worth a third or fourth.

This trio would probably surpass Carolina as the best LB corps in the NFL.  Dang close, if not.

No RB for Jags next year, but I'd love to see McCaffrey in Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers and that bunch if Eddie Lacy doesn't make a big comeback this year, which I don't think he will.

Fat and lazy. Coaching has said he needs to lose weight or he won't be playing
