Brett Hundley wants to enter the draft

Personally I think its a bad decision because I don't think he's ready. He will struggle at the next level if he's forced to play early. But at least there is another potential franchise QB entering the draft.

Geno Smith type IMO. Will struggle in a similar fashion but will show flashes. I agree... Should stay.

Florio seems too hung up on the idea that college kids dont get paid.  When Geno's rookie contract expires and is lucky to sign for league minimum as a backup, ask him if he wouldnt have rather his rookie contract be a top 10 contract as opposed to a 2nd round one.

I can always argue both sides of this.

I would suggest he stay but I don't hold it against him for wanting to declare.  He would be a decent candidate for a team that already has a good quarterback that he could sit behind and develop.  As an immediate starter I wouldn't be interested but later in the draft as a sit and develop guy I would be.

hundley is probably the most all around physically gifted qb that will be in the draft. if this guy is a third round pick and has a high football IQ. to me, that would be a good thing for the jaguars to wind up with.

i havent seen enough of his games to know if he has the poise and ability to read defenses to succeed at the next level.

at the worst i think his play would be similar to jake locker, at his best maybe a similar style to cam.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

What makes him a Geno Smith type?

I still think Hundley is better than he gets credit for.

A guy on that same team that's too underrated IMO is Shaq Evans just about everything i've seen he's projected 6th or later but hes usually good at catching the ball when it comes his way, he'll fight for the ball in traffic, good yac ability & field awareness.

I hope we do not draft him.

No surprise there. Too many teams hungry for a new QB, and with Murray and Mett hurt atm and Mariota decided to stay in school, his stock is getting better as the months go by.

Him and Bortles had their stock go up by default
