Finally, he gets some respect!

Quote:Really man? Just how sheltered are you? Caffeine is a drug, it alters your mental and physical state. Does drinking coffee make you a "bad" person? Does taking pills for illness or injury make you a "bad" person? Loads of people get addicted through a med they previously were prescribed. If the legality of a substance is your issue with drugs, then does speeding make you a "bad" person since it's a violation of the law? I've known generous, honest, gentle, kind-hearted, compassionate, responsible people who "do drugs" and total scum who don't. I don't think its as black and white as drugs=bad, no drugs=good. A persons character is defined by far more than whether or not they choose to enter a certain substance into their own body.

Anyway, congrats to Jimmy, well earned.
Agreed. I am an advocate of ending the drug war(as other countries have and see use going on a nice downward trend) and treating it as a medical issues throughout, decriminalize it under the stipulation you are not harming others; IE driving while impaired. It is so silly to think men and women are serving 25-life for having too many ounces of vegetation in their possession. Would save us tax payers a decent share of money, end the black market on drugs, and evidence shows it would even lower abuse/use rates.
