Is Trump a Democratic Plant?

#21

I don't think Trump is knowingly a Trojan horse for the democrats. It just sort of worked out that way.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Quote:You have me all wrong pal. Never have I said Trump would be a good president. To the contrary I have stated numerous times that there is zero chance either of the two candidates get my vote.

You just think people voting for Hillary are idiots. People who vote for Trump aren't. And neither of them get your vote.
Only a chump boos the home team!

You do see the hypocrisy here don't you?
I never pointed out whether or not I agree with his brush stroke. I will say the same thing about Trump. IMO there is idiocy involved with casting a vote for him as well.

I have said on this board in the early part of the primary process that I thought that he was a plant, and I still think that is the case. Personally I believe the main objective was to eliminate the percieved establishment candidate that would defeat Hillary easily (Marco Rubio). However, even after pretty much every establishment candidate except one was eliminated, he still had one other anti-establishment candidate left (Ted Cruz). During that period of time many conservatives, libertarians, independents and even some democrats got behind him and helped him achieve the nomination.

At this point he pretty much has to be "all in" in this crazy race. From what I've seen I believe that there is a significant number of voters like me that will select him not as a vote FOR him but a vote AGAINST Hillary.

I believed Trump was a Dem stooge, too. Now I don't think so. It's remarkable how he has exposed and vanquished the neocon Republicans. The neocon rats are all scampering to vote for Hillary because she represents the status quo and the last chance for then to have any relevance.

Trump had a full house in Daytona today with another one tonight, including people lining the streets like Elvis was in town.

Poor baby. Did I hurt your feelings?

Look, I know you're boy is imploding and this is a particularly sensitive time for you so perhaps you need to retreat to your safe space.

That's exactly it. the people who truly hate him are the worst of the worst establishment head honchos. that's what has always pushed me to Trump. he might actually be the right guy for the job.

Keep believing that.

Some people (i.e., you) have a hard time believing that some of us (i.e., me) think it's bad to have a loon in the White House.

Entertaining, yes, but dangerous.

Quote:But you cannot justify why Trump would be a good president aside from slamming Hillary. There's a word for that.

I don't believe many voters think Trump will be a good president, quite the opposite in fact. I do believe many think he will not be as bad as Hillary, which is not at all the same thing. Criticism of one is not necessarily an endorsement of the other.

Quote:I really don't think you understand the majority of the Republican party. They are the people who think the party leadership is too far left and are glad that someone who isn't the Same ol Same ol is in the front, even if he's really turns out to be more of the same. The party moderates have been in charge for too long in their opinion.

Too far LEFT????

Do you really think Trump is to the RIGHT of normal Republicans??? Protectionism, infrastructure projects, pledging not to touch social security or Medicare, you think this self-described anti-Wall Street champion of the lower classes who pledges to somehow stop companies from shipping jobs overseas is to the RIGHT of a normal Republican???

To call this mentally unstable xenophobic megalomaniac a right winger is to insult right wingers. It's puzzling to me why conservatives would ever support this guy.

So far the polls are like Elvis as well. Maybe he should just leave the building.
