Trump is gonna negotiate a better deal. Okay. Sure. With China who he says is taking our jobs. Is he gonna shut down plants that manufacture his stuff there and move those jobs here? No. He is instead going to make a pre-emptive statement (tipping his hand) that China should prepare for a worse deal than the agreed upon deal in place, then he is going to get the better deal (because -- did you see the title of his book?) and move those jobs back to the US. Sure.

Politicians have been saying they're gonna create jobs or have taken credit for job growth which occurred on their watch for decades. It happens every election season. Some have actual plans. Some have the luck of being in office when the economy is in uptick. Very few politicians have enacted plans which were responsible for actual job growth. What Trump has presented does not sound like a plan.
