How does the OLine look?

Quote:What do you guys think about the offensive line? Will they be okay or is this a position that will be the top priority in the offseason.

Imo adding a starting left guard and a back up swing tackle will be two priorities

Quote:Reed also seemed to get pushed around alot and had a couple of holding penalties.

He is definitely a work in progress. He had some good plays but also got beat and had a penalty.

WAY too many holding penalties.

The first unit wasn't horrible. Add Linder back in there and Beachum at LT and the unit should be a lot better. Cann and Parnell opened running lanes on the right side all game and Joeckel had a very impressive block on Hurns almost td.

Our run game as a whole look great.  Not only the line but both Ivory and Yeldon.  Of course the pass blocking was another story.  However if our run game is really good, that can take a lot pressure of the passing game.

In the first series (the only one against the Jets defensive starters) :

Reed gave up a pressure (Bortles still completed)

Shatley gave up a sack

So the only negatives in the series were by guys that won't be starters.

On the positive side:

Joeckel was fine.

Cann made a great play when he sealed off a lane for Ivory AND managed to chip the LB trying to fill the gap.

Are referring to just the Offensive Line?  Because Julius dropped a for sure TD pass and he is going to start.
