Again, it doesn't mean he'll be able to do what he's been doing at the NFL level.  It's about more than stats.  Especially with a prospect like Manziel.  I'd throw his stats out the door to be honest.  His style of play is what is going to doom him at the NFL level.  I see almost no way his body holds up if he plays that way and I don't see him having the abilities to change to a more conventional passer.  That's not what type of player he is.

The SEC wasn't a good defensive conference at all this year. LSU was down due to draft attrition, Georgia and Florida were ravaged by injuries... only Alabama fielded a great unit.

If the choice is Manziel or no QB (which it's not) I'd be perfectly comfortable with Caldwell taking no QB in the draft.
