It goes like this: Guess which games on our 2016 schedule Jacksonville will win and lose between September 5 (when rosters are reduced to 53 players) and September 11 (our first game). Predictions are only wins and losses, not statistics and scores. It does matter which games you expect the Jaguars to win or lose.

People made up the nickname based on the pronunciation of JW. I don't know who started it, but somehow the nickname stuck.

 

BTW although I never went to Mississippi, my younger sister lives there now. Maybe someday I will - just for a visit, of course.
