Sorry.  I just googled your description, and listened to the speech Michelle gave when she said that they visited Barrack's Home country of Kenya.  It was clear to me what the reality of her speech was.  It got me a little riled up.  I didn't mean to take it out on you, per se.  It's just annoying to have to rummage through the muck of that to get to the truth.

 

The truth is this:  

It wasn't a mis-statement.  She was talking about the African American struggle...  Barrack is lucky in that he knew where his father came from.  

 

It's lunacy to try and portray what she was saying was an admission that he was born in Kenya.  Obviously it wasn't, if you actually understand the struggle.  I'm not black, but I've hung out and partied, and worked with enough black people to know that what Michele was saying was not a mis-speak.  She's talking about the struggle.  

 

It's real.  And it continues.  Obviously.

you say "the media" like it's not real.  it's the medium by which you are getting your information, and it's basically owned by the same people who own the politicians.  so if information is presented in a certain way (in Trump's case, in negative light), you better believe it will have an intended impact on its subjects

 

and like i said, even if you were at the conference and heard his comments from the horse's mouth and got offended, you cant separate yourself from culture.  the media has shaped our culture to be hypersensitive to speech.

yeh, its amazing how many dems became stallwarts of civil rights legislation after the pictures of them spraying black people with water hoses shamed the country into allowing black people to vote. Never mind the fact that American Eugenics (think final solution) pioneered by Margaret Sanger (the virgin Mary in the eyes of progressives) has killed 20 some odd million black people
