The question becomes what's the Bucs asking price for Mike Glennon? My hunch is at least a 2nd Round pick and something else.

That sounds very high to me. I would think they would be happy to get something for him.... 4th rounder, possibly low third would be as high as I would go if I thought he was worth it.

   Though Mike Glennon is scheduled to become an UFA in 2017,   he currently provides the Bucs a level of depth at the most critical position most NFL teams don't have.   With other teams potentially needing QB helping leading up to the NFL trade deadline,  the Bucs seems to have trade leverage.  

 

  Having said all of this,  whether the Vikings are comfortable paying a price more along the lines of what I mentioned is anyone's guess at this time.  My gut feeling though is because they have a high caliber roster at the other positions collectively,   they would be willing to give up plenty of trade compensation.

 

   Even if Mark Sanchez is cut,   I'm just not sold on him as even a stopgap.   Sanchez is too mistake prone.    A caretaker at the position would at least give Adrian Peterson and their Defense a chance at getting to and advancing in the playoffs.    Glennon though could be noticeably more than a caretaker.   Yet, it gets back to asking price by the Bucs.

That's not the same injury. A dislocated knee involves at least two ligament tears and possible articular cartilage damage.

Seriously? Believe me when I say you can suffer an injury and be immobilized to reduce further injury and still need sedation for diagnostics. It's called being in severe pain. Immobilization doesn't take away the pain it just reduces further injury.

Bridgewater out?  Oh No !!!  How are the Vikes gonna replace those 14 TDs and 9 Ints ?

Not to make this about me, but I did it playing softball.  Slid into third base trying to go to the inside of the back and avoid the tag.  Hit the ground kinda awkwardly and ripped the patella right out of the socket.  I think I said, "Ouch that hurts"...or something along those lines.  Oddly, and fortunately, we happened to be playing the Upper Dublin (PA) Fire Department in a practice game.  I got a quick ambulance ride to the hospital for what turned into a long/funny/interesting/weird night.  Too long to tell here.  Ask me about it if you don't blow me off again the next time you're in town.

<p class="">Having mentioned this,  medical terminology can be confusing as only one word can change the definition to something vastly different.

<p class="">The bottom line is Teddy Bridgewater suffered a very serious knee injury,   with a difficult road ahead for him in his rehab and comeback attempt.    There will be plenty of uncertainty ahead in terms of whether Bridgewater can regain his pre-injury skills eventually or even come close.
