Miami

How does everyone think Miami will do in Mark Richt's first year at the helm?

I think they can realistically win 10 games with 2 losses coming from either FSU/ND/UNC.

This team has to unGoldenize itself and that may take some time.

4-5 losses.

They hired one of the biggest underachieving coaches in CFB.

Looking at their schedule, 8-4 at best.

8-4 probably. I think richt will boost recruiting a lot compared to what golden was doing but it's gonna take a couple seasons.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I rescind my 10 win game post, AQM and Grace (best DE and best LB) have been dismissed for a luxury rental car issue.

I just saw that. Seems a bit harsh. Is there a particular reason? Is he trying to send a message in his first year as HC?

They weren't completely honest about it when Miami first questioned them.

Also, Miami consulted with the ncaa to avoid any issues.

No one was expecting dismissal.

He's got a good QB, and a lot of returning starters... his team should get to 9 wins based on the fact he's a better coach than Al Golden could ever hope to be.

Good call on dismissing those two players. After all the stuff they've been through, I guarantee those kids have heard compliance compliance compliance every day and they decided to do it anyway.  Rather than the NCAA come down hard on them, make a point that you aren't playing that game anymore.

They hired the one guy who underachieved more than Al Golden.

Richt has had so much elite talent at Georgia in recent years and has almost nothing to show for it.

Richt only had one losing season at Georgia. and never finished lower than 3rd in the east.... how is that under achieving... Bon Jagley has no idea what he's typing.... He must be one of those "closet Wand Bagon jumpers", waiting to jump on the Hurricane Train once Richt gets it rolling. Watch out... that dude will be wearing orange and green in no time....

Richt was a huge underachiever at Georgia. Only two SEC titles in 15 years with the talent Georgia brings in is unacceptable. And his teams always choked in the biggest moments.

And lol at Bon Jagley jumping on the U bandwagon. No one is hopping on that crap anytime soon.

Never finished lower than 3rd? Well, he did an excellent job of finishing ahead of Kentucky and Vanderbilt.

Lets think about how mediocre Florida has been since Tebow graduated and think of how Richt has been 3-3 against them in this time.

I mean it's not like he has had elite NFL players on the roster like Todd Gurley, AJ Green, Geno Atkins, Justin Houston and Thomas Davis.

Have fun with him.
