LSU sends message, suspends Josh Boutte for Jacksonville State game

The kid needs to be suspended at least 3 games. That type of hit could have seriously injured the other guy.

Lucky it didn't do more damage - because the intent was evident. 3 games would be right

Personally, 3 games feels about right. NCAA should make the decision.

Agreed. That play has no place in football. Easily could have caused a concussion and we know the impacts of that with each shortening your football career.

Nope.

I stand by the fact that he made a sissy move. However, I am glad that he showed remorse and I earnestly hope that moving forward he won't resort to these types of actions again. What he did was deplorable, but not irreparable.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Nope. Nice gesture and all, but that's it.

Play was dirty - and I don't believe him about thinking the play was live. Nobody else on the field, nobody else on the sideline, and nobody else watching thought play was still live. Deliberate cheap shot, and should have real consequences.

Not even in the slightest. He called him to tell him that he's sorry because he didn't think he was down? Everyone else in the entire stadium knew he was down. That's basically a half [BLEEP] apology to try and save some type of face. Nope.
