Seems a fair ranking for Bortles.

The one I don't get is Winston. Top 10? No way.

Nothing to LOL about.  He was complimentary of Bortles in the blurb beneath where he had him ranked.  Perhaps he masters the subtler parts of the game this season.  What helps Bortles as far as Fantasy Football value is that we're loaded with weapons, but that's not what he's ranking QBs on.

At the end, it's just one man's opinion.  Opinions can be wrong.

You could question the Winston and Mariota rankings though.

The "lol" was about these two. I think Winston is/will be very good. But to rank them above Blake, Carr, Dalton, etc right now is a joke. Especially Mariota

Mariota has a quick release, can throw to a spot within 15 yards downfield, and can run around a little. Aside from that he's garbage.

Yeah it really is a head scratcher. He has the same mindset some here have, he will regress. With the weapons we have and the defense getting our offense the ball more.. I don't see how you can draw that conclusion unless you think Blake outplayed his stat line, and hes not that good.

What's wrong with having Mariota ahead of Bortles? Mariota has a much quicker release, throws a beautiful spiral, has better ball placement, and is far more dangerous when running. Blake's side of the ledger has a season of inefficient stat compiling, and probably more durability.

They both need to and are capable of taking the next step, but you don't have to squint very hard to envision Mariota being better equipped to take that step.

I would pretty much guarantee if you switched teams and gave Mariota Arob, Hurns, and Julius while giving Blake Kendall Wright, Rishard Matthews, and Delanie Walker the opinions would be unanimously in Mariota's favor.

Oh, please. Mariota has a quick release. Great. He can release it quick up to 20 yards downfield. He is a dink and dunk, one read QB who runs fast. Give me a break.

Also helping Mariota is playing under the QB Whisperer, aka Mike Mularkey

Most here think he is a good young QB. You have to understand, of course we are gonna trash him he's our rival QB!

I really think the AFCS will have one of the stronger groups of QBs in the next couple of years.

I think he can be good, I think ranking him 11th right now is VERY premature.

But it is a Jags board, so MM hate should be expected.

I never fully understood the bashing of Mike Mularkey here, either.
