Week 2 is must win.

Quote:The players almost pulled out a win against the NFC favorites, and the refs. It falls on the coaching if they somehow lay an egg against a much weaker opponent.
Much weaker?

We have won 14 games in 4 years and are sitting 0-1.

SD has a HOF QB and a HOF TE.

I'm not saying we shouldn't beat them but.......much weaker?

Based on what.....our draft?

We have to prove we are better than "any" team in the league before we can assume we are.

Period.

Was really hoping we win today because we always lose on the west coast. No matter how bad the team is.

"We're on to San Diego"

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

So the players get all the credit for almost beating the Packers but Bradley gets ALL the credit for losing?

I guess I understand you now.....you don't like Gus.

Much weaker than Green Bay I think he means.

I agree with him though, San Diego are likely without the best WR they have and the #3 overall pick. On paper rhe Jags should be taking the win if we want an8-8 or better season.

While I don't think the chargers are that great, Rivers is a high quality QB and will have all day to throw.

Much weaker compared to the Packers roster. Are you slow?

Quote:They just threw away a 21 point lead. Great teams don't do that.
True, glad I didnt say they are a great team. Always sucks for a team when their best WR gets hurt bad too, crazy momentum killer.

Bradley didn't make us lose, he did a fine job coaching today in my opinion. But he needs to keep the team headed in the right direction, get a win next week.

Yes Gus has done a real fine job. As long as you don't look at his W/L record he's been great.

Please, don't act like I love him. Not in the mood. He isn't why we lost today, that's all I said.

I didn't say you loved him. He absolutely is part of why we lost today.

He's part of why we have lost so many times over the past few years.

This is his team, his offense, his defense, his team. I admit he hasn't had a lot of talent over the first few years but that's not an excuse this year and really shouldn't have been one last year. Today looked like the same old song and dance and pardon me for being disappointed in that.

Extremely bad time management (again). Certain things like, I haven't seen the marcedes Lewis catch which he took quite far but went out of bounds, haven't seen it on the replay but it didn't look out of bounds to me. Now we called a timeout after, why not challenge it? Right or wrong may aswel go for it if you want to use a TO anyways.

We ran the ball at the death when clock was a factor, didn't work all game so why bother?

That last play call was awful, call something with A2 going outside to the end zone with an underneath route, aim for the td but have the route underneath to get the first as a worst outcome.

Tbf people have been moaning about pass rush, didn't bother me to much as I saw quite a bit of holding and against anyone but probably 2/3 teams in the league( Green Bay being one) I think we get those calls. Not to mention a lot of PI

He like Gus, so I'd say so.

Refs gave this game to GB, it was the Jags who tried to take it back.

Doesn't matter if Allen is out. We had plenty of games last year where a key player was injured and we had a team limping. And still lost. I have no confidence in this team until they prove it

Rivers will look like tom Brady and Peyton manning combined into one person with our zero pass rush d

I must be.....but it wasn't stated that obviously to be honest.

You said we should beat them because they are a much weaker team.......never mentioned the Packers.

But I guess I could have known what you meant.

He most definitely stepped out of bounds.

Also I'm not sure why Olsen gets a complete pass on that last play call?

Lastly Gus isn't responsible for all the non calls on holds and pass interference.....it was borderline criminal!
