I think it's a funny name that implies his penchant toward authoritarian style leadership. As well as points out the lack of courage and honesty by his followers to admit to even the smallest of his flaws.


It's pretty self evident. I could call him bot czar, but nobody would get it, and it's not as funny, in my opinion.

His rhetoric is extreme nationalism. Hostile verbal attacks on minority groups (Mexicans/Muslims) -- blaming them for the all the country's problems. The way he handled himself during the GOP primaries. Willingness to allow/endorse violence to advance political objectives. Created a mythology (made up bull manure) around his rise and background. Use of propaganda to promote false narratives.


Similarities don't mean he is the next Hitler. But I can't ignore them. His whole platform has been how everything is terrible and only he can fix it. Scarce on details other than "I'll fix it. Believe me."


Like I said though.. there are plenty of other areas which make him an awful candidate even if you choose to ignore all of this. Still his Svengali-like grip on the psyche of his supporters is pretty alarming since most of these people kick and scream they are not sheep.

Funny you say "lack of courage". Most of the democrats lack the courage to vote for the candidate they actually like rather than just voting to block Trump. Now that is a lack of courage.
