I think it has more to do with young teams. Younger teams usually don't win but it's more due to not having reached their potential yet vs not knowing how to win.

 That certainly has been true the last 16 seasons.   Yet,  I remember the many, many days, years, and decades that this same thread would have been fitting for the Patriots.  This was a franchise for a long time that had plenty of talent but would find bizarre ways to lose.   Not to mention,  losing many games to less talented teams.

  You might have to wait a while.   Right now,  there's not a franchise remotely close to the Patriots in the AFC East.
