RG3

Trade our 1st rounder to Redskins for RG3. Fresh start for him and Washington gets a 1st round pick this year.

I don't think I'd trade a 1st for RGIII.  We need to find our own QB, I think.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

I actually don't think they would turn that down. If I were the Jags I'd say no though.

LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

Don't love the idea. Don't hate it either. :/

No way Synder gives up RG3, that being said if the Jags finished 7-9 I'd seriously consider a mid-first for Griffin deal.

I would not trade any pick for a player who rushed his recovery from torn knee ligaments because he was afraid of losing his job.

I'd trade a 2nd and 3rd for RG3. That's it.

What in the world are you talking about?

RG3 was in no position of losing his job. Show me something that would give you such an idea.

John Madden was critical of Mike Shanahan for his decision to shut down RG3 for the season.  The word that comes to mind regarding the current situation with the Redskins is incongruent.

What a disaster. No thanks

I feel confident that trading a high draft pick for a QB with question marks circling him like vultures is not what Caldwell had in mind when he said "build through the draft."

I wouldn't.

Hopefully Cousins comes in and plays phenomenal, making the Redskin's comfortable going into 2014 as their starter. Then:

- Vikings trade for RGIII (they like mobile QBs. See: Cunningham, Culpepper, Jackson, McNabb, Freeman).

- The Texas sign Jay Cutler (They have the pieces in place and might opt for a veteran to win now).

That would make things really, really nice for the Jaguars sitting around pick 5.

I side strongly with the NO's. RGIII is a disaster waiting to happen. Why bail out Shanahan and the 'skins? Trading our #1 for that guy is unthinkable, IMO.

I wouldn't take him for anything, RG3's career isn't gonna be that long with his injury prone-ness and attitude about himself. His "I wont take responsibility for a loss" mentality will hinder any progression as a player. I think he'll just be like Vick in a year or two where he just sits down and lets a person better suited to be a starter take the reigns. And he will weep.

Running quarterbacks are bad enough, but running quarterbacks who can't run anymore are even worse. No thanks.

That is an absolutely toxic environment in DC. From the owner on down. What a mess. I like RGIII as a player but he is damaged goods at this point.

I normally always side with drafting your guy but I'd think about this I still think RG3 is a special talent surrounded by dumb people. The Redskins organization is a dumpster fire.

Like someone said earlier if we finish 7-9.....I probably do it.

You mean Vick, who is ten years older than him?
