Boselli is still blaming the players for not making plays

#21

Quote:It's both. The coaching has gone stale and needs to be improved and/or replaced. The players are making too many mistakes (which could be talent and/or coaching). Bortles is looking BAD each week. There are still silly mistakes and penalties that are hurting this team which is a result of players not focusing.

The coaching regime has to go and the players have to improve.

I agree that it's both.

The defense has played pretty well in the 2nd half for both the GB and Ravens games. They held both those teams to 6 points in the 2nd half.

So, there's been some type of "half-time adjustments" going in in that regard.

Who knows what the offense's deal was yesterday? Olson, Bradley, Bortles? We can't say for sure. All we can see is that the offense had 3 golden opportunities to win the game (and a 4th opportunity if you want to consider that last drive having a chance at a game-winning FG).

The defense has played good enough 2nd half football to win games. The offense (both coaching and players) has failed to take that opportunity when given to them.

O-line was horrendous yesterday. I just watched the condensed gamepass replay. Damn O-line play was sickening. Zero run block, zero pass protection. BB5 running for his life on 4 man rushes. Freaking pitiful play by the O-line. Jim Brown would struggle to gain yards behind this line.

The injury report explains why. We missed Beachum and Linder.

They were horrendous with them as well.

Quote:The record was bad when we had bad players. It was obviously the players, not the coaches, that made us suck for three years.
Bad players masked less than adequate coaching.  That's becoming clearer now that we've got more talent on the roster, and the team continues to flounder.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Your signature is so dumb.

Remember when you wanted the Broncos to beat the Jags? You are the worst.

Injuries certainly contribute to the struggles, but the truth is, players who we should be expecting more from are struggling, and it has little to do with injuries.

STOP with the injury crap...every other team in the league is dealing with injuries.  Hell, the Patriots are down to their 3rd string QB and they're 3-0.  We are not prepared to win football games.

Vikings lost Adrian Peterson and Teddy Bridgewater, and they're 3-0 too.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

You openly rooted for the Broncos to beat the Jags and yet you call out other people saying they're not real Jags fans....

Quote:Don't forget that head scratching non-timeout at 1:50 that let the Ravens drain the clock down to 1:20 seconds. Leaving us with only 30 seconds to drive it down the field instead of 70 seconds

I don't think that's a big deal. We either get the ball with 1:30 and zero timeouts or 60 seconds with 1 timeout.  Keep in mind we only needed a FG. If we needed a touchdown, I probably go with the 1:30 and no timeouts.

The problem was that 1) Blake made a terrible decision to check down on the middle of the field (though you can argue why would you even call a play with this option) and 2) that dumb sack he took when he should have thrown the ball away

I openly rooted for the Jaguars when they played against the Packers this year.

Run block was terrible all day. But I actually thought the pass protection was pretty good in the first half. The second half was different.

He was a great player but when it comes to what he says now he is a complete idiot. I can't stand listening to his stupid self. I just turn off the radio.

Quote:Best example is bortles. He's closer to the Osweilers of the world and getting further away from the elite QBs as we speak.
I think this is due to poor coaching. The fact that he is going backward is evidence to me that he is not being properly coached. They don't use his strengths and force him into plays that don't suit his abilities. The more that happens the worse he will get.
