Vino,  if you or someone else can provide what each of the color codes ( each color ) stand for,  it certainly would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Right. But when you watch Ramsey, do you think there's any chance he turns out remotely like McCray?

Worlds apart in talent and instinct.

Khalil Mack has like 2 tackles and 0 sacks through 3 games. Js

Looks like Poz, Telvin, Ramsey, and Fowler are all playing like beasts.

Yannick is doing good in a support role.

Gipson and Cyp are playing average.

Malik is providing some pressure. I'm surprised Odrick is not on that list in run support.

I'm not doubting Ramsey.

I'm doubting the source.

I wouldn't take anything they say without a truckload of salt.

Like I implied, the numbers are just numbers.  They aren't relative to anything tangible.  It's just numbers, not unlike Madden.

Yes.

A very dubious grading system for many positions at PFF.

Often misleading.

The time when they did the blurb on McCray though- he was playing pretty darn good.

IIRC it was over a 4 or 5 game stretch that they analyzed.

our defense it starting to gel it appears, but per usual, our offense is back to pedestrian. SMH

yeah he needs to hold off on his bold predictions because he is wrong a lot.

True.  (LaRoy Reynolds)

I do really like the way Ngakoue is developing though.  Shaping up nicely to be a quality contributor to the pass rush.

   Thanks,  Vino.

Correct me if I'm mistaken but anything under 70 seems below average from a PFF rating perspective.

I can also use PFF rankings to wipe my butt with. About as useful as toilet paper.

Ngakoue was taking it to Stanley all game. He showed up multiple times last week against SD too who has a very solid offensive line this year (as did Fowler both weeks).

I don't see how anyone can say Ngakoue doesn't have double digit sack potential really. He dominated against good competition in college, and thus far it's translating into the NFL. I mean Mike Kaye who is one of the better guys to listen to in JAX area said pre-draft he thinks Ngakoue is a Trent Cole clone who made a large stamp up in Philly for years.

He may not get there, but the potential is there to be that type of force. Not all edge rushers are great run stoppers. It sucks he isn't excelling at both parts but we haven't had an edge rusher that has made noise week after week in a long time. Now we have two guys that are showing some pretty great flashes, although as far as a pass rusher off the edge is concerned Ngakoue is looking more promising in that department. Although to be fair Fowler is showing up in a big way in the run game, and he gets double teamed sometimes whereas Ngakoue doesn't.

But the genies on this board said Telvin and Poz should be benched and cut

I always said Jack should be on the field but with those 2 guys, not replacing them until we move on from Poz in later years

Also the SD game kinda screw up some of the rankings but to have guys that high even with that bad game is telling, the defense will be very good
