I said when he first got back surgery that this was the beginning of the end of Watt. He has said himself that he'd retire before he can't play at his level any more. We very well could have seen the last of Watt.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

More of a reason to fire Gus. Division still winnable.

So will he make the hall of fame without problem since he's in a large market or will he face what Tony Boselli has faced?

As a dominant player it likely is.

For him and the Texans it does. I hate injuries, but this will be a relief for Jacksonville's offensive line.

Again? The Texans won it last year.

This is huge news for all of the AFC South(even the AFC as a whole) I wonder if JJ will be back to his normal self ever? back injuries can be very scary and stay with you.

Wish him the best*

*Minus whenever he may face the Jags again

If a back injury can derail the greatest golfer in our generation, I figure it is 100x worse for a DE.

Yeah he could never be the same and he hasn't been great so far either.

That's too bad. I love Watt and what he is capable of on the field.

This division is wide open and we're stuck in reverse with Gus freaking Bradley.

Hopefully,  J.J. Watt will make a full recovery but there's no question wear and tear of playing football at the highest level is catching up to him.

It's now very realistically possible that 9 wins or less will be enough to win the AFC South this season.
