This game strengthens the hope for a MJD-Todman split that begins resembling the Fred Taylor-MJD split years ago. MJD in his twilight but still some juice left in the tank, with Todman learning and making plays. Could be a solid pairing next year.

I've been on the fence about Gus so far. Wasn't sure how much of this run was facing weaker competition and how much was coaching.

 

Its been a long time since I've seen the Jags have a penalty go against them that led to a momentum changing score and not crawl up in the fetal position.

 

Any time within the past 4 years that PI leading to the Bills TD would have clinched this game. Its good to see this team playing with some fire and not giving up.

Yea MJD will be taking a pay cut and have a reduced role and be more of a mentor back but with fresh legs and healthy he can still be effective.
