So Andrew Luck is just above-average

So 3 players (now 2) beat the Jaguars, Titans, and Texans? ... And you say Grigson sucks? Your definition of suck is way different than most peoples. If 3 players stomped my teams rear end ... I don't think I would admit it like you do. I appreciate that about you.

Quote:And never forget...the clot fans are very sensitive!!!!! As much as they post on here the Indy board must be terrible!

It isn't that at all ... We come here to laugh at the only team to not win the division, because their best smack talk can't be about what their team has accomplished (except failures) ... instead they (you) fall back on "sensitive" board smack ... One day you will win something to which you can use to talk smack ... until then, carry on about how awesomest the Colts board isn't. One day if all goes well, you will have a "real" or even somewhat worthy accomplishment to discuss ... doesn't look like it will be anytime soon. :woot:

Question ... are you sensitive about the Jaguars not winning anything worth mentioning? We shall see. Tongue

Sammy the jags texans and Titans suck. You lot are average and therefore superior. What more do you want me to say?

You have some alright players apart from those 3. But Mathis and Wayne carry you both sides of the ball still. Grigson has to do better

How are people still arguing this matter? Doesn't this picture pretty much settle the entire argument?

So two years in and two playoff appearances and I'd say Luck is above average And given another 2 years will probably be elite. especially if the Colts get him some weapons.

At this point he is a slightly above average quarterback.  Whats the problem saying that about a qb thats only two years in?

I'm not sure he can reach the elite status, but he definitely has time to get better and seems to have a good work ethic.

I'm not sure why anyone would take exception to him being only above average at this point.

The one's who bite your head off for calling him average can't back his elite play with any stat or reason for it,

"He's way better than average...because he is. 2-14 to 11-5 blah blah"

The Jags are my team and I defend them yes...sensitive...just a game.... to much in my life to worry to much about things I have no control over...lol surely not so sensitive that I have 10K posts on another teams board... I was banished to Indy in the military when the clots were horrible and played in an empty stadium.....just wondering how small the Indy bandwagon would be if they still were bad...or would they be moving under the cover of darkness again!

In 2011 the Colts went 2-14, lost 13 straight and sold out every single game.

The more I think about this, the more impressive it is. Manning was essentially a non-factor and although the Defense played well -- at least from my perspective -- there were very few reasons to think that the '11 Indianapolis team could pull out wins.

Granted, Manning and Co. developed a very strong fanbase but Kudos to those fans.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

You seem quite sensitive for a guy that calls it "Just a game" that you have no control over.  Tongue

That's about as lame (and old) as Tarps, L.A. Jaguars ...etc ... You need some new material.

Another teams board?

Well that's just way too low of a blow, I am offended and hurt.  Sad  You're just a big meanie ... Uncle! Uncle! you win.

This may be true, but they were also coming off MANY years of being one of the top teams in the league.  It was a newish stadium and people were not going to give up their season tickets based on one possible lousy year.

That place was basically a sell out before the season started.

I would say if any team went on a run like the Colts did and then had one down season, it would be a similar story.  Before Manning got there it wasnt that way.

Indianapolis, and the Colts will always owe Manning for what he brought, and built to this city.

It isn't any different in any other city, it's just the way it is. Winning brings fans once the newness wears off.

Their one data blip year with no manning...how was the attendance before Manning???????? I lived there in the 2 years before manning..so I know the truth!!!! Sammy in his post knows the truth. Every team in the league has had years like that...like at NE before they got on their run....not sure why anyone would deny it....just part of the NFL and the sinusoidal wave each team gets to ride.

As far as I see it… Indy could probably name their new stadium after him and that wouldn't be close to crediting him for everything he did for that team.  Peyton built that house.

"Colts suck" -dumb people

Where is lastonealive to tell me Andrew Luck is average & the Colts are a fraud? Or are you going to tell me the Chiefs aren't very good and are frauds themselves? What's your excuse this game?

After the Clots got blown out by the Rams I stopped trying to evaulate their wins and losses. Rams should not have won that game.
