I was worried my mom would not buy any candy for me because we don't get beggars here. Fortunately she did buy Hershey's milk chocolate.

 

I do not miss the candy passer assignment. That "job" limited what I could do for two hours.

Is there a height restriction for trick or treating? I may sound old and grumpy, but these costumes have no originality these days.

I have seen high schoolers not wearing costumes come to my door.

 

It is not as fun to see kids wearing a couple things like cat ear headbands instead of full costumes.

The guitar solo in that song is still one of my favorites. I'm not sure if Jake improvised that or composed it, but it fits the song perfectly.

I don't know how many kids show up in my neighborhood. Halloween is my moms birthday and we always have a family get together to celebrate the two events, so I'm never home to give out candy.

Halloween on a weekday just isn't the same. I wish schools automatically gave the next day off and just had a makeup day later.
