Wisconsin has two losses, but owns the tiebreaker over Nebraska;. If 1-loss Nebraska wins out, Wisconsin has no chance. Nebraska's best chance of losing again is Saturday night in Columbus. Then we have a 2-loss team (if Ohio State beats Nebraska) in the in the BTCG. The interesting scenario here is what if the 2-loss West winner beats the 1-loss East winner?

That's what I mean.

I'm speculating that Nebraska will lose at OSU; and Wisconsin makes it to the BIG10 Championship game and beats either OSU or Michigan.


If that happens (it's unlikely but still quite possible) what other team gets in the playoff?

MICH could still possibly get in over Louisville.

Big12 needs help without a conference championship game and pretty much all their teams already having one loss.

Pac12 conference winner will get in the final four unless they have 2 losses...

No way an idle TAMU can jump in on conference championship weekend.

 

And I'd guess if the PAC12 champ ends up with 2 losses, I might slide a 1 loss BIG12 (say WVU if they run the table convincingly) winner in over TAMU...

 

depending on how the conference championship games go. (if the pac12 has two 2 loss teams in the ccg, in an already weak division, that won't look good on them. If WVU wins big over OK and Baylor and win the BIG12 they would deserve the playoff spot over TAMU, imo)

 

When it's all said and done I suspect it'll be 

Bama

Clemson

Michigan

Washington (I don't think they will lose any of the games in their soft schedule)
