Seriously, I've heard plenty of young men and women that come through my spaces every day say things that are unbelievable.  Some even try to point out how "communism isn't a bad thing".  They also don't seem to understand or get that our country is NOT a democracy and fail to really understand why.

 

They coddle him by giving him EVERYTHING he wants, and never make him do his homework (unless it's for Sunday school, of course).  


"Communism isn't a bad thing" is an opinion btw.  That doesn't make them indoctrinated at all.  People can independently form that opinion, believe it or not.  You're free to disagree with that opinion (I disagree as well).  But it's still an opinion.  Neither objectively right nor wrong.

 

Also, this country is absolutely a democracy.  We're a representative democratic republic.  We're not a DIRECT democracy, but it's not wrong to say that we're a democracy.

It was never sold as having zero flaws.

 

But it is true that capitalism provides the most opportunity and benefit for all people.

 

It's why our poor have a better standard of of living than any other country on the planet, and have more opportunity to succeed than any other on the planet.
