I tried watching it during lunch... had to break off before the end (I didn't realize it was an extended episode)

<shakes fist>

Great stuff.  The next narrative and the closer to the center of the maze will only get more interesting.

I was wondering if they'd do a second season.  I couldn't see A-list movie actor Anthony Hopkins signing on for a multi-season TV role, even if it is HBO.

Apparently they have it planned out for 4-5 more seasons.

The word is he's on hook for two seasons. That's speculation though.

They have a 5 season story arc planned.

Quote:Anyone watch the finale yet? Thoughts?

I really liked it and pretty hyped for the next season. Shame it's going not be until 2018.

Watched it liked it but surprised how quickly some things were set in motion. I'll be curious to see where the story goes now.

Also curious as to Ford's motivations.

2 episodes to go.  I got sidetracked with Parks and Recreation the past few weeks due to stressful negotiations at work.

I wonder if that was really Ford at the end.

They made a point of showing us him constructing a host down in the field lab. I do think it would cheapen the speech he gave and the choice Delores makes.

True, but he's not the most trust worthy of characters.

I loved the twists in this show, but I do feel they tipped their hand a bit too much. Delores made a comment "but what TIME are we in". it was then I knew there was something up with the man in black and he had to be someone....either William or Williams mean friend (whatever his name is). The part about the maze being more metaphoric was cool tho.

The theory I like is that was the real Ford at the end however he created a host version of himself to live on.

Hence the Mozart didn't die, he just became music line.

It's Dolores.

Which may or may not be important.

Very curious line, as well as the handshake.

Finally watched the last 2 episodes.

Think I need to re-watch the final 90 minute episode as I was kind of losing interest and really didn't (mentally) capture everything that occurred within the final episode.
