Pains me to say this... well not really...Draft Dalvin Cook!

#1

I know everybody wants a QB, but I'm just tired of drawing from that same well early in the draft and getting nowhere.  It's time to try something else.  They always say never get a RB too early, but this time by I feel like Cook's explosiveness would help us.  If I were GM I would draft Cook and the biggest, baddest dudes on the interior offensive line in the first three rounds.  Then I would find a QB with GOOD MECHANICS and production in the later rounds.  Plenty of teams are able to do it.  Why can't we?

The Broncos started this 7th rounder Siemian guy I honestly never heard of (straight up not going to lie didn't know this man existed) before the 2016 season. He simply plays smart.  That's what all we need.  No more "HE TOOK OVER THE MEETING ROOM" bullcrap.  Bortles throws like a windmill and has the worst footwork maybe ever for an NFL QB, including Tim damn Tebow.  Any success he has had is not sustainable due to his glaring flaws.

Here's what you do:

1.  Draft Cook

2.  Draft or sign big bad dudes on the offensive line

3.  Sign Veteran QB

4.  Maybe take shot on late round QB

I like Cook, but not enough to pass on Myles Garrett or Jon Allen.

Wasn't Yeldon a 2nd rounder...is that not bust enough?

he's decent enough. at least solid depth as a #2 back.  you need alot of RBs these days. Denard is not a good enough #3.

1A. Cook

1B. Ivory

3rd down Yeldon

i mean look where we are now. Ivory is hurt and Yeldon is playing with a bad ankle.  All we have who is healthy is Denard.

Our third running back wasn't even a running back in college! How absurd is that.

I like Cook but we are looking at having the # 2-5 pick. Think that's too early for him

Cook is a game breaker with excellent vision and patience to allow the play to open up. On top of all of that he has elite speed. This should be a highly considered option to draft if available, regardless of high we pick.

If we can get away with trading down and grabbing Cook, you do it..

If he runs a low 4.4 I might be a little more okay with it. Just don't like taking RBs that early.

sure if we can get him in round 2 even better. however this interior O line needs some better players. not sure we can wait around for them like we did with Cann who is average at best.

So... you're saying Cook over Fournette?

Would be even better to trade down to say 8-10 and we get him plus another 2nd rounder and future 1st
