And then spend the off-season convincing them not to demand a trade lol... I cant see why any of our good players would want to sit through another rebuild

Quote:They probably wont be back next year. Its a shame. I thought Thomas would be a halfway decent vertical threat but the losing culture Gus employs makes our players get fat and not care

I never really had the feeling neither weren't replaceable. The word "competition" is meaningless in the Jags organization. Their replacemts have outplayed them. I'm with ya in thinking they won't be back.

It is over when all 16 games have been played. All NFL fans know that.

The only thing that's over is our playoff hopes. And that is not what this thread is about.

The word IT means the 2015 regular season. So until January 2, IT is not over.

You aren't going to change my mind on this lost season.

And no you do not get to decide what IT means in MY post.

It means this season.

"This season" ends on the same day for Jacksonville as any other team. A season is 17 weeks, regardless of the team's record. So if "it" means "this season" I am right and you are wrong about it being over.

How can you possibly not understand this simple fact?

As anyone will tell you, the point of the season is to make the playoffs. We will not make the playoffs, hence....the season is over. He's right, you're wrong....deal with it.

If that makes you feel better.

It's not meant to be literal. This was not my point.

This season is lost. We have two [BLEEP] wins! Disgusting. Can we make the playoffs? Nope. It's over. It's been over because we never had a chance to begin with because we are BAD.

The only definition of a "regular season" is the 17 weeks from early September to the first weekend of January when NFL games are played. That is a FACT.

What will make me feel better is you stop saying the season is over before January 2. If you don't mean it literally, say it differently.

I don't know how I can say it any differently to make you understand it.

We suck. This team didn't have a realistic chance with Bradley and crew and Bortles playing like [BLEEP]. We were screwed before the season began.

We suck. This team didn't have a realistic chance with Bradley and crew and Bortles playing like crap. We were screwed before the season began.

Just tell me what "it" really means. Chances of having a winning record? Playoff hopes? Twelve games? Yeah, those are over. Not "the season."

Or you could have simply not stated anything is over.

It's probably better for your overall mental health that you don't try to understand her. Lol.
You either die as a good poster, or live long enough to become the troll.
