Florida has a new OC

#1

Muschamp has filled the vacancy in his staff at OC. I wonder if Kurt Roper will be given free reign over the offense.

<p style="margin-left:40px;">"...Roper has served as Duke's offensive coordinator since 2008. This year, the Blue Devils ranked 68th nationally in total offense, averaging 408.1 yards per game and 31.6 points per game.

<p style="margin-left:40px;">He has extensive history in the SEC. He got his start at Tennessee while serving as a graduate assistant from 1996 to 1998 and then followed current Duke head coach David Cutcliffe to Ole Miss, where he spent six years coaching quarterbacks -- including Eli Manning -- and was the passing game coordinator during his final three seasons
..."

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Will Muschamp's job was never really in jeopardy. Injuries were a major reason Florida sucked. The AD knew that and said he still has total confidence in Muschamp.

Muschamp has noticed his seat heated up. He's terrible. Understand that injuries hurt them but that offense was awful even at the start of the season

He obviously is not terrible at recognizing the need for a better OC. Let's see if he hired the right man for the job.

If you don't keep up with Gator stuff...how do you know anything about him as a coach, what he will or will not do there?

I meant I don't keep up with up to the second Gator news as in his fate.

I know exactly who the guy is and how mediocre the Gators have done this season. I expected him to be pink slipped.

I assume you also know who was the coach when Florida was ranked #2 in the nation and won the SEC Championship Game in 2012. And you saId they can't win anything? I beg to differ.

We played in the Sugar Bowl last year and lost to Louisville. Florida hadn't been to Atlanta since 09 when we lost to Bama.

I watched A LOT of Duke football this year. He's a creative play-caller that consistently gets the best out of his personal. He may not be the flashiest hire, but I can see him developing into quite an asset for the Gators.

LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

So Florida was never ranked #2 with Will Muschamp as the head coach? Or are you only looking at the final BCS standings at the end of the year?

Hopefully he works out as well as Ron Middleton has for the Jags, who also came from Duke's staff.
