Ramsey had that rookie breakout game
|
He balled all game.
I really loved it when he whacked hopkins from the ball on that quick out. Knocked him to the ground and hopkins face was like... 'Wait....what?" ....as Ramsey just strolled away.
Because Jaguars is our mantra

He bullied a so called one of the great wide receivers in the game. Beat his [BLEEP] to be exact and still draped him all game. I've never been that entertained by just watching a cornerback play probably since Deion Sanders.
Ramsey is by far our best player, followed by Malik Jackson and Telvin Smith.

Quote:I go by the eyeball test. What I saw yesterday was one of the best CBs in the NFL. If we get a decent pass rush, this guy will take over half the field. Me too. Ramsey was all over Hopkins. I was surprised when I read Hopkins had eight catches. When Ramsey was not keeping the ball out of a receiver's hands, he tackled the guy immediately. When #20 is on the field WRs get no YACs. Quote:He was held the entire game....Oh yeah! My bad! So astute of you to say! I know what kind of fan you are now. We're done here. I hope there is an ignore feature to this site.
Hopkins was targeted 17 times, half of his catches weren't against Jalen. Dude was trying to get away from him the entire game.

Quote:He was held the entire game.... How many times was offensive holding called against the Texans? Answer: Not nearly enough. Quote:He was invisible that entire game.A - it's one game. B - how 'bout that play when #91 moved his guy back into Osweiler who stepped up off balance and threw a pick to Telvin? ![]()
Quote:A - it's one game. do you not see Malik Jackson on that play? HE's the reason for the pick. Yannick had decent push too but credit goes to Malik here.

Quote:A - it's one game.Osweiler is a statue. And his pocket presence is horrid. It's not that difficult. If Yannick isn't getting doubled then he isn't on Jalen's level. I think you are missing the point, and yes I have eyes. Still - Yannick deserves some credit there too, IMO. If Yannick doesn't move his guy that far back, the escape valve RB is wide open for Osweiler on that side. Yannick took that away. Quote:Osweiler is a statue. And his pocket presence is horrid. Ramsey was the guy who tipped away the 4th down stop at the goal line - right? I was impressed by the extension. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Ramsey was the guy who tipped away the 4th down stop at the goal line - right? I was impressed by the extension. Yes he was. Several yards deep in the end zone, actually. It reminded me of the game-winning play in Chicago. Quote:I'm not making an argument about "Jalen's level." I'm saying Yannick was not "invisible."He was. My point was Osweiler is a bottom tier QB and he couldn't sack the guy once. All edge rushers are judged on their ability to sack. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can. Quote:He was. No, edge rushers arent just about sack totals. Pressures are right up there and he did that on multiple occasions. Vernon just got paid 90m this past offseason with 7.5 sacks. Why was that? Oh because he is near the top of the list in oressures every year. |
