As I've said all along, I think we will find we dodged a bullet if Coughlin goes on to HC somewhere else.

Thing is, if he's in the right situation he'll do well, as he certainly knows how to coach. He's proven that. But a lot of guys know how to coach. (See Mularkey and Del Rio, 2016). It's finding yourself in the right situation that is the hard part.

This is nothing but a rumor probably used as leverage to get more teeth to the Jaguars head coach vacancy. The Bills at 7-7, and in the playoff hunt are not calling for their coach to be fired . Cant even talk to coaches yet. Jaguars have confirmed interest in Coughlin and whether you like the move or not, Tom Coughlin will a front runner, if hes not leading the pack to coach the Jaguars next season.

Anyone who thinks the Bills could have hired Tom Coughlin today has a big problem. They have to talk to him before even thinking if they want him.
