Good God, you're dense.

I think that leaving puppies on a chain too heavy for some of them to lift is disgusting. I think it shows stupidity and a lack of good judgement, but I don't think that makes him a bad person.

If they levied a $500 fine against him, it was probably worse than we realize. Having said that, I'm perfectly fine drafting him around 10th overall if we trade back. Dude is good.

EDIT: Nevermind. Just read about the robbery thing. He's been in trouble or associated with trouble too often to risk an early pick on him.

Are you in a hut locked away from society?

Driving drunk is one of the most irresoponsible, [BLEEP], [BLEEP] things you can do. But if you don't think 1/2-3/4 of the population that drinks doesn't do this, I'm not sure what to say. Especially young people who think they are invincible and nothing can happen to them.

I know a kid still in high school that is under 18 years old that has 3 DUI's.

Obviously the BB gun thing isn't a big deal, just saying he's had run ins with the law besides just these two things that we've talked about.

Oh, but clearly you didn't read what the morality police, JagsFanJay, said on the matter.

Driving drunk is just a mistake, even though you could potentially take a human life. Negligence to animals, on the other hand, should get Dalvin Cook the chair and no one should have ever given him a second chance. Period.

You guys act like he went out and beat them with a bat, kicked them, spit at them, etc. It's quite hilarious.

You seriously think putting a big [BAD WORD REMOVED] chain around their neck causing them to choke/not be able to breathe and so heavy they can't even move isn't much?

I havent said one time I agree with all he's saying, but the fact you keep glossing over the dog incident and acting like it's not bad is honestly astonishing. You must really hate animals...like seriously.

IDK whether to laugh and hope you're joking or seriously wonder/worry what kind of person you are.

Please look at the NFL arrest records and look at who we still root for that have done far worse than mistreatment of dogs. Not necessarily on Jags team all though Jimmy Smith comes to mind but the whole NFL.

Again, I know he isn't the only one to have run-ins with the law. He'll still get drafted high. If he becomes a Jaguar and ends up being an awesome RB we will all cheer for him as we want our team to have success. That isn't what I'm arguing.

I could have left out the TE and it still would have looked damn impressive, but I like your idea better.

This draft is loaded at TE. I think we need to move on from Julius unless the HC/OC thinks we haven't used him right and can get what we need out of him and grab a TE to pair with Koyack. Koyack has been pretty impressive imo. Nothing special, but he looks like he could be a nice little weapon that can really block.

It's going to be very pleasant here when the Jaguars draft someone other than Cook.

I know but nothing he has done should ruin his career or his chances of being drafted early by any team in need of a rb. Let the GMs do their own questioning why we wait to see who screws up in the off-season(cause we all know it's gonna happen).

It'd be pleasant either way. As long as we draft a need and a talented player.

There's only one person that said he shouldn't be drafted early, that was Jay. I said he should be considered for our pick.

This all stemmed from a guy saying Fournette shouldn't be considered because he sat out his bowl game. Just because I don't agree with it doesn't mean there should be any reason the guy shouldn't be viewed right at the top of this draft.

Yeh I cant fault LF or Mccafferey for not playing injury or not. Money is a powerful motivator and it's not like they don't love their team. It's just some of these kids are seeing dollar signs that most of us could only dream about.

I love animals, but going off of what was in that animal report, I'm not going to freak out over that. Yeah, it was wrong of him, and negligent, like I've mentioned before, but I'm not going to get outraged over it and give Cook the death penalty, especially since this happened two years ago. He was issued a $500 for for doing so, and I'm assuming he learned his lesson since we haven't heard anything else since then about any kind of negligence or abuse.

Obviously Cook isn't a perfect person, and he had a very troubled past coming from a difficult area. He has grown up a lot since then, which is why I think saying he's a terrible person isn't accurate.

You have your opinion of Cook as does JFJ, and I've got mine. From the looks of things, we aren't going to agree, so I guess we'll just have to leave it at that and agree to disagree.
