Russell Athletic Bowl

going to have to hope that the texans want to bring in a veteran since their roster is already loaded up otherwise. theyre not in rebuilding mode. a rookie qb might cost them a couple years into the small window that roster has to make a run at the super bowl. free agents that might work would be cutler, vick, or a long shot with freeman. not too sure which qbs might be available for trade or cut though.

Makes sense. AJ and Foster aren't getting any younger. They might look to a veteran signal caller to make one last run (Cutler)

Teddy will be a better quarterback next season than Vick and Freeman, so that would be incredibly dumb of them. And as a Bears fan, I'd put money on him having a better season than Cutler as well.

As a Jaguars fan, I hope they go with anyone but Teddy.

Theres a couple QB I don't want the Texans getting including Teddy...

I hope they take Carr (bust) 2.0, personally.

I could see Carr being mediocre for years. Having a few up moments and a lot of down moments that will get excused like I did with Gabbert for a while, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt for lack of experience. Carr going there would have a good team around him so the excuses would be limited. I think he will be a bust for the pick but I think he is a guy that might get a team to stick with his mediocrity for years, which would definitely be awesome if that was houston.

Yep, Carr or Cutler for Houston, thats what I want!!! Those would be the best 2 options for them as a Jags fan if we have any ideas of possibly winning that division in the near to mid-future.

As long as we're talking about Teddy Bridgewater, here are my two cents.   He's really really accurate.   He hits guys in stride.   He throws into small windows.

Personally, I had not seen him much since last year's bowl game against the Gators, but last night he looked like the same guy.

ACCURATE.

Quote:Says the fool who thought Geno was going to change that last offseason. Your credibility is pretty much zero with the Jag fans.

Im not the only one who felt that way about Geno, who I still think can become a good NFL QB given the proper weapons and experience. At least I'm not a coward when to comes to formulating an opinion about about a player. You just lurk in the shadows with your boyfriend pirkster waiting to strike at anyone who is high on a particular player. Maybe you forgot we all do this for fun. Maybe you forgot that it is possible to make mistakes speculating, heck even through a battery of player evaluations even GMs get it wrong, sometimes repeatedly.
