Should Trade for AJ Mccarron

#1

He's definitely available and seems to believe his trade is inevitable. Id do it for a 2nd or 3rd. He played ok in his limited time as the bengals starter when dalton was injured.

Blake is pretty bad, so if were going to go into this season with a young "unproven" QB im taking AJs limited time over Blakes 3 seasons of mediocrity.

I'd rather spend a 2nd or 3rd on Patrick Mahomes than use one of those picks on AJ McCarron.

You rag on people all the time for their ridiculous ideas but you want to trade a 2nd rounder for McCarron?

i wouldnt want him starting right away. This is an idea for an immediate starter. Mahomes is dope though, i hope he gets the right situation cause he could be really good.

I'd rather pick up Hoyer/Cutler/Glennon for free than waste a high 2nd or 3rd in a deep draft on McCarron

The only ideas on QBs i rag on are the ones that include blake starting, trading for jimmy grapplinghook, paying some bad veteran FA, or anything involving the word competition.

But all 3 of these guys are confirmed to be bad qbs, i dont see what you gain from this at all besides another top 10 pick.

"I dont want to spend a pick id rather just rehash the same qbs that have had jobs for years now and been bad at all of them"

Its like you guys have no semblance of risk and reward on here and just want to be safe and sit on your hands until a franchise qb stumbles in the front door.

Yeah they aint great. Rather bring them in as some form of competition for Bortles and hope he can play average unless Tyrod or Kap get here somehow.

Competition isnt a real thing. Our #3 overall doesnt need to compete with journeymen to get better.

Tyrod and Kaep are fine though. Tyrod does everything blake does but actually does them well and he doesnt have a trash throwing motion.

Jimmy G.  I just have a feeling he is pretty good.  I would like them to pull the trigger on him.
