Jags can pretty much draft any player they want

We don't know if we're sitting on a cowbell RB or not because our OL sucks. Ivory fumbled the ball quite a bit this year but he might be the answer behind a better line.

This draft is loaded at RB. Why take one at 4 with all the rbs in the league who got taken in rd 3 or later and are elite? Rather get an impact pass rusher or safety.
Quote:We should draft a pass rusher. We're an elite pass rusher away from this defense being special.shades of 2008 enter Harvey and Groves begin the downfall of the Jags Quote:Any chance they take Cam Robinson?Doubt it. Is he a guard or a tackle? Once you answer that, we can look closer at him, but I don't see a superstar prospect either way. Quote:shades of 2008 Luckily this time around there can't be a downfall. We are already at rock bottom!

My point is not to include Grant in whether or not we should draft a RB. Ivory fumbles and can't stay healthy. RB is a very high priority IMO.
Ivory had slippery hands in NY IIRC. He's older, particularly at RB, so there's still a big need there OL or not IMO.

I dont think the Browns are taking a qb in the first round with either pick. I believe theyre going to stand firm in their plan to just build the best team possible and wait for the right guy.

If they trade for someone then that's a clear sign they're either trading down or drafting someone on defense. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Someone will grab at least one QB in the top 3 picks in front of the Jags.
In each draft, there are only a small number of prospects that are considered to be elite caliber. When you are in position to grab one, do it...I am not a fan of trading back when you have a top 5 pick and a difference maker pick available at 1-4. I understand the argument for a RB at 1-4, but can find a very effective back beyond round 1. I would like to see an elite caliber edge rusher, if available.
Quote:Someone will grab at least one QB in the top 3 picks in front of the Jags. I don't think so. I believe Trubisky stays in school and if he doesn't come out, I see no way a QB goes that high.
If Garrett or Allen fall to us, where does everyone play?
Maybe move DFJ to LB and start Ngokwae and Garret/Allen on the ends? That would be filthy good. I would love to see Jax build around the defense and establish that mindset of good defense and running the ball. That kind of football tends to travel well, especially in poor weather. You don't need to put up 480 points a season to win that way. Grant is nothing, A stopped clock is right twice a day, he hasn't been right...ever. I wouldn't mind if we got Fournette if Garret/Allen are gone but I really do think he an AP kind of talent. Our offense would be miles better if BBINT was only tossing the rock 20 times a game just to keep them honest.
Calling Deshawn Watson a future bust since 3/19/17. If I eat crow, I will keep this in here and proclaim JackCity a genius.

Quote:I wanted us to get Cook but the way that Grant ran against the Colts I'm not so sure. With Grant, Yeldon, and Ivory as our backs we have some depth. I wouldn't mind a pass rusher or an eilte offensive lineman. Although I don't think there are any elite lineman in the draft this year.Alexis reach but I really think it would be a excellent pic. And this is coming from a Florida fan because he has kids are but for the last 3 years. He is a game-changer and I would love to have him even at 4

Quote:I request not editing your post. It will add humor to the thread. I won't other than to say, I revoke my previous statement. Ivory is much more of a cow bell RB, than he is a bellcow RB.
Quote:Why? He looked pretty good to me. Fast. Hit the right holes, etc.. I remember a few years ago Jordan Todman had a 100 yard game, and we all thought we had something.
