The team would be wise to extend players from the 2014 draft. Bortles is a bigger question all its own, but Marqise, ARob, Linder and Telvin should all be locked up long-term. I'd wait out Colvin another season to make sure he's not going to be suspended again.

As for free agents, whatever they decide with most of them I'll be fine with as long as they're sure to re-sign Abry Jones and Prince.

My prediction.  Nobody gets released any time soon.

Regarding Henne, until there is a serviceable veteran QB on the roster he isn't going anywhere.

Regarding Marcedes Lewis, he isn't going anywhere until he retires.

Henne here.... or Henne not here matters not, he's a non-factor

All it takes is one injury and he'll be a major factor.

I believe both of their contracts expire this season. They may not have much say in the matter on whether they are returning.

Sign Stephon Gilmore.

Sign Tony Jefferson.

Sign Dontari Poe.

Sign Zeitler and Leary, maybe Matt Kalil for RT.

I don't need a HOF backup. I just want a competent backup that gives us a chance to win games.

Quote:Hey guys.

So what roster moves do you want to see this off-season? What roster moves do you think NEED to happen?

Also, how many days till the release of Chad Henne? I'm ready for a actual backup QB. One that can take over if Bortles goes bonkers.

Your thoughts?

This fan base has a strange obsession with Chad Henne

I've seen some people suggest that they wanted to bring him in as a starter.

I mean if he beats out Blake, we'd be one step closer to a new QB

I know some people hate Bortles, but to suggest that Hoyer could ever beat him out is bordering on insanity.

Huh? Im actually a Hoyer fan...I think hes a legit backup and with a year or two under his belt learning the system could out perform Bortles.

It's probably a mistake but wikipedia has QB Austin Davis listed on our roster.
