Dalvin Cook wants to be a Jaguar! Bring him on!

Well, the last two Noles we drafted are pretty much the best players on the Defense (if not team). DRAFT ALL OF THE NOLES!

Quote:That is your opinion. I believe Foreman is the far better talent with more NFL value. I believe he is the best overall player in the draft. He and Elliott are the best runners I've seen since Adrian Peterson. I'd then rank Fournette #2, Perine #3 and even if you eliminated all the alarming character issues from Cook's past, I'd still only rank him as the #4 RB in this class. He'd be #5 if I knew for sure that Chubb would be back to 100%. I guess we'll have to wait for a few years to see who ends up being the best NFL RB (if Dalvin Cook can keep from committing any more crimes.)Dude your opinions just lost all credibility with that analysis. You are either trolling or don't deal in reality. In NFL circles Fournette and Cook are basically 1a and 1b in the draft. You must not watch much FSU football clearly. You have an agenda against Cook.

Tom is all about drafting character guys. Quote:It doesn't really matter because with Tom Coughlin at the helm, we'll never draft Cook. Is Cook's spider chart and SPARQ rating not up to your standard?
A guy foolish enough to mock such simple and useful tools as SPARQ and spider charts is stumping for a running back with multiple shoulder injuries in the top 5. How apropos.

Those injuries really hindered him this season.

I'm hoping somehow we get Allen at pick 4.
Dalvin cook slides down round 1, possibly to our pick in round 2 or we trade up to the later picks of round 1 to get him.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Cause i dont think you do, and if using them is your attempt at invalidating KY youre really just exposing yourself. We all know what spider charts are. The spider charts just take people's timed/measured stats and arranges them on a chart. We have been looking at that info for years without the need for a chart. We still don't need the chart. We will never need the chart. The reason we make fun of them is because it's all KY uses to judge players... Spider charts and tweets from no name new wave analytic guys who are wrong just as much as any other guy with the same job. Drafting a player takes research, time, eye tests, watching game film.... In the end, you can only prep so much and it's still a crap shoot. The invalidation of KY is solely based on his condescending dialogue, his inability to come up with his own thoughts, and his inability to compromise or see someone else's side. KY is a pompous, whine baby, blowhard. That's why he receives the treatment he does. Dalvin is going to be a good running back. I'm not worried about his shoulders. We did that with Leonard Williams and how did that turn out so far?

I think KYJaggy does way more homework than the vast majority of people here, myself included. I do think his opinions are worthwhile and valid many times. What I have an issue with, and it may be just me, is how he presents his opinions. Many times there are assertions as if they were facts when in reality they are just opinions. It's the "I'm smarter than all of you" mentality.
Regardless of that, I enjoy the fact that he's part of this mb. May not agree with him on a lot of things but that's all good. In terms of cook - I think he will make a fantastic NFL running back.

Cook should be the pick. And can excel on the Jags.

Tom took a chance on a guy labeled a bust and had a pretty bad charactor. Anyone ever hear of Jimmy Smith?
While was on the Jags did not get into the stuff until after his career was over. Tom and Doug will have all future and current players on a tough leash. And because of this. Cook will excel.

Watching him run a bit, he's a tall, smooth runner, but doesn't really cut. I'm actually reminded of watching Corey Grant, but with less speed and more power. I'm not sure I really see #4 overall in him. At that spot, I'm expecting Zeke... or at the very least Gurley.

Cook reminds me a bit of Melvin Gordon. They're close to the same size and have similar strengths/weaknesses coming out of college. Cook will need to improve on his pass blocking before he's a 3-down guy.
