if a team likes Allen better as a prospect and the other two teams go QB it very possible. As high of a prospect he is is isn't Clowney level prospect and teams reach every year for a QB.

He's a more polished pass rusher than Clowney was coming out and won't be too far off him athletically.


Agree with you though , there will 100% be a QB picked in the top 3.

The situation with Cyprien probably has a bearing on this. If we re-sign Cyp then drafting a safety in the first round seems less of a need. Adams might be an improvement, but would he make as big a difference as getting a top pass rusher?

I'd guess that if we resign Cyp and stick to the current D scheme, we're aiming at a RB if Allen isn't there.

I would have to assume their grade is also curved for potential....Garrett is extremely physically gifted. If he ever turns his motor up to 100 full time, he is going to be a real force coming off the edge. If he slips to 4, the jaguars need to draft him without hesitation. 

 

 

I think his ceiling is higher than Bosa, and his floor is higher than Clowney. He should be a good one. 

Oh I think he's a great prospect too, but I don't see him being several tiers above those other guys either.

I like Adams for his ability on the field and also for his intangibles. Looks like a born leader, smart player, good instincts. The only defensive player I have above him right now is Allen. (i'd also include Garrett but assume he will be gone for sure.)

This is the most wide open draft I've seen in a while. After Garrett and Allen (I think they'll be gone), I can see the jags taking one of 8-9 guys. Things may tighten up as we get closer to the draft, but so many guys to choose from.

Probably won't be able to draft him. I assume he's going to jail for murder after that block around the one minute mark. First time I've seen that!

It's not my favorite pick at #4 but it makes sense to me and I wouldn't be upset with it. I'd rather play 2 deep safeties and get Hooker but if we are going to replace Cyp, Adams is an upgrade in every way.

I usually saw him in the 15-20 range at the moment, but it's expected that he would be a riser after being one of the most explosive athletes at the combine.

He's a true hybrid who never has to come off the field, because he can run extremely well and cover but also is a beast as an in-the-box defender. The Giants saw Landon Collins break out this year, and Adams has that kind of potential.
