All season it seemed like everybody was talking about Jonathan Allen and Cam Robinson being top 10 locks and mentioning the fact that Alabama had some other NFL-level players. Obviously both of those guys will be valued at #4 by some teams who need to upgrade their offensive or defensive lines. But during the CFP title game my favorite Alabama player was LB Ryan Anderson. I knew nothing about him except he's a defensive player at Alabama and had a pick 6 at the Peach Bowl. Why weren't people talking about him all season? He probably shot up the draft boards after his CFP performances.

I never worry too much about Ted Thompson letting UFAs get away because he is the best GM at retaining them. Ryan Anderson would be a good pick at #29 if Green Bay can't trade up or pick a DB there. |
