Senior Bowl Performances
|
Senior Bowl practices are underway and i thought we should have a thread about it
Lamp looks great at Guard he was beasting against everyone Garcia(T from Troy) struggled big time, he was getting worked every rep Mcdermott(T from UCLA) also was struggling alot Dalvin Tomlinson just has a knack for playing big, he eats up smaller centers and guards and takes double teams well Vanderdoes has no technique at all and just relies on timing the count and pure strength Pocic struggles at times but overall was solid Villanova DE(cant spell his name) looks like a freak and had a pretty good day but he was going up the RT from Miss St and he was a drum to everyone Kazee(SDSU CB) breaks really well on short routes but got beat deep a couple times T White(LSU CB) for how big he is he closes really well, also had a INT today Justin Evans(TAMU S) didnt see alot of him but made a nice pass break up in 7-7 OJ Howard is a complete stud, caught everything today with one hand or 2 WR from Grambling, last name Williams was the best WR out there and he was a late add Everrett( South Alabama TE) had a nice catch in 7-7 We show less advertisements to registered users. I said it before and I'll say it again, OJ Howard at 4 would be a better pick than Cook or Fournette.

I'm sure only a handful of people outside this board think that fournette wpuld be in play for the jags there. And not a soul outside this board thinks that Cook would be in play. Quote:I saw vines of Daeshon Hall whipping Lamp and Garcia in tackle drills.Oh forgot about him! Hall was playing really well, wasnt against Lamp on the 1-1 because Lamp was only at Guard Quote:Oh forgot about him! This was the video of Hall throwing Lamp to the ground at OT https://twitter.com/SportsGuyTweets/stat...5928934402 Quote:Oh forgot about him! My bad the feed on NFL Network only showed his 1-1 when he was at guard, only time i saw him at T on TV was 2-1. He definitely should stick to guard
Quote:I said it before and I'll say it again, OJ Howard at 4 would be a better pick than Cook or Fournette. Question...apart from blocking, what's the big difference between Jared Cook as a prospect and OJ Howard as a prospect.
To me OJ Howard is simply Austin Sefarian Jenkins with good blocking.
He's a first rounder all day but not a dynamic talent you draft at 4. He isn't a Jordan Reed/Kelce type in the receiving game. Quote:Question...apart from blocking, what's the big difference between Jared Cook as a prospect and OJ Howard as a prospect.Waaaaaaay better hands. He's what the Lions want Ebron to be but also the best blocker in the class. That's a lethal combination. I'm also not saying we should take him, just that it would be better than the RBs. I like the idea of Howard as a player in the NFL just wouldn't take him ahead of those two. The best comp for him is Martellus Bennett.
I'm about to ask the stupidest question in board history.....can Juniors that declare early play in the Senior Bowl?
