If not..

What does the deer Lord look like? Top half deer, bottom half man or vice versa?

I really like kamara as well in this draft. I think our of fournette, foreman, cook, kamara....Etc we won't have to rush to grab a running back. We should be able to focus on need and value, grab one of these guys that slips.

Quote:Cook reminds me a bit of Melvin Gordon. They're close to the same size and have similar strengths/weaknesses coming out of college. Cook will need to improve on his pass blocking before he's a 3-down guy.

I don't see them as similar at all. Very different styles of play. Gordon's around 6'1 220 where as Cooks around 5'11 200.

Gordon barely ever had to catch the ball in college where as that's one of Cooks biggest strengths.

Cook is listed at 6'0 and probably will play closer to 210 I think.  Gordon didn't have to catch the ball much in college, but he's done well in the NFL.

Cooks 5'11 and 200 if even. He might be 5'10.

Yeah he's done well but the styles they play are very different.

Yeah he's done well but the styles they play are very different.
He is bigger than Devonta Freeman and he weighs 206. Cook will come in around 210-215lbs.

Quote:Tom took a chance on a guy labeled a bust and had a pretty bad charactor. Anyone ever hear of Jimmy Smith?

While was on the Jags did not get into the stuff until after his career was over.

Tom and Doug will have all future and current players on a tough leash. And because of this. Cook will excel.

Bust?  You have no idea what you're talking about.

From WalterFootball so take it for what it is worth...

The combine interviews and pre-draft visits are going to be very important for Dalvin Cook. There are some minor off-the-field concerns regarding Cook; not so much with his character, but the company he keeps. Cook is said to have an entourage that has some real thugs. These friends have teams worried that it could be dangerous for Cook to continue hanging around them. Teams are concerned that Cook drinks a heavy amount and could have some challenges with his focus from having multiple kids with multiple women. They think that leaving the state of Florida would be good for Cook's long-term career and could help him to focus on becoming a professional.

However, some team sources are worried the entourage will follow Cook wherever he goes, as that was the case at Florida State. Thus, it would help Cook to go to a team with established leadership in the locker room that can help steer him in the right direction.

If the character concerns are that big, he's not in any conversation at 4. That being said, I don't know how true any of that actually is.
