Quote:Depending on the win/loss column, I can't see Coughlin giving Marrone as long as Dave gave Gus.. At least I'd hope not.I imagine that our owner has a pretty set standard he expects from Marone. I'd say next year he expects around 8 wins and the following year he will expect PLAYOFFS or damn close. The only way I see Marone getting any more than that is if Blake gets sat down and we draft a rookie QB. He may get another year or two in that scenario. If everything else is really clicking other than Blake. And quite honestly... I think we will be around 8 wins next year and I believe we will make the playoffs... Maybe even next year. I believe Blake is gonna get better and so is our rushing attack.... Just get better man lol We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Blake will have competition. Either via FA or Draft. Could be Romo or Tyrod or someone else.
And doubtful be a rookie. With Blake an unknown. It is not the same situation as Brunell or Eli.

Quote:Romo has like 2 years left. There is a 0% chance he will spend them in Jacksonville. If the qb is the biggest issue. He would come in with two to three great receivers. A really good te and a good rb. If we show fixing line. Probaly is the best situation to have. The only other one I see. Is dare i say it.. The tinhorns.

Heck, this season, if we're able to get off the 1st offensive play without incurring a penalty, that would be considered improvement
Quote:Romo has like 2 years left. There is a 0% chance he will spend them in Jacksonville. Dude can't even make it through preseason anymore without hurting his back. Quite honestly, I think that he's tweaked his back too many times to endure a full season Quote:If the qb is the biggest issue. He would come in with two to three great receivers.
