its been a hell of a run. We have won, what? 5 off-seasons in a row. You never see teams string together this many offseason victorys. Usually teams get better and win in the actual season. Not us, we don't let those pesky feats get our way. March-August should be renamed after us.

I see us drafting Fournette and trading back into the first for Cook.

If it was possible, I honestly wouldn't mind at all. Coleman and Freeman are a big part of the Falcons being in the soup and bowl. I'm done with Ivory fumbling and Yeldon is so mediocre it's apalling. As long as we went ham on Oline in FA, I'd actually like cook and Fournette.

I watched that movie (the 1st one anyway) while the gf and I ate dinner, solely because I read this post. Small intentions lead to big impacts wouldn't ya say?

Alas, as bad as our run game was, IF we went absolutely HAM on the offensive line in free agency, I wouldn't be opposed to taking Fournette and trading back into the first for Cook.


Doesn't matter. Cooks gone in the first 15 picks I think. I do think Fournette will be in play if there isn't a great pass rusher available at 4.

It's funny you say that....

I keep watching film on both and idk who I'd take...

My gut tells me cook will do better in his first few years as a jag simply because our run blocking is horrible and he has shown he can produce without a clear hole to run in.

However... Fournet has like a second gear... Meaning once he gets a few steps ( past line or through hole in line) he becomes a beast. If he doesn't get momentum he fizzles out.

So idk... Could we would we take them both?

I don't think we can because if we did I don't think either would get sufficient opportunity to get into a groove.

I actually believe Corey Grant showed us enough in one game last year that we don't have to draft a RB unless he's another Adrian Peterson.

Corey Grant came outta nowhere and looked like a game changer.
