Russell Okung is headed to FA.

Broncos refused to pick up option.  So will not receive his guaranteed money from the Broncos.   Now may be one of the best options out there for Tackle in FA.

Thoughts?  Should the Jags go after Okung?

I'd definitely take a look at him as a stopgap at RT, for the right price. He'll garner plenty of attention, but Albert will be our LT going forward. No reason to pay LT money to a guy that won't play LT.

Russell Okung was the worst part of an overall bad offensive line last year. Web took a look at him last year before signing Kelvin Beachum. Watching both Jaguars and Broncos games, it is clear we made the right choice.

He's been released twice from teams with bad Olines. Can't be a good thing

Didn't the Seahawks just let him walk?

Denver did not release him. It was like the Kelvin Beachum deal.

Denver didn't pick up his contract which is the same as releasing him.
