Freedom of the press is in the First Amendment for a reason. If an individual journalist is making false statements, you pursue action against that journalist. You don't lock out large chunks of the media because they don't salute the swastika the way you want them to.

Not 'fake news' as such, but the usual click bait that both conservative and liberal news does to increase hype and get ratings. Still, this would be a pretty significant expansion on those previous operations you cited.

I think it's cowardly of him and his administration. Whether you like them or not. News is news. They should have the right to be there. Let them say what they have to say. Let them do what they have to do. The more you ban them or exile them the more you make it easier for people to lose faith and trust in you. 

 

This is why I am glad I don't get suckered into that whole "pick a side" thing in our country. This left or right [BLEEP]. Free speech and Freedom of the Press. Whether it's coming from the intelligent, ignorant, self absorbed, etc. It's a shame it's come down to this to be quite honest. Especially when you can continue to set up the fake news and lying journalists even further with poor journalism and reporting. 

 

This is literally what happened with that whole Wall Street Journal Vs. Pewdepie hit piece that started a few weeks ago. The WSJ ended up looking foolish after they clearly took things out of context to fit their own click baiting headlines.
